THE STORY

I Got This is a story about Kat, a sober, once marginally famous punk rocker, driven by her libido, who has been a deadbeat 'dad' to her accidental daughter, Grace. Kat comfortably exists in the chaotic world of the NYC underground, involving herself with colorful, often doomed characters. But, when her ex-girlfriend Corinne, Grace's reliable parent, reaches some success and goes off on tour, Kat must finally move past her terrible boundaries and arrested development magical thinking to help Grace through the early stages of her own battle with addiction.

Katrina Del Mar is a force of nature.  A filmmaker, a musician, a photographer and an artist above and through all of life, she is one of the last bastions of hope for the soul of the East Village.

PRODUCTION STATUS

This film is currently under development. The team is fine-tuning the screenplay with the help of talent and friends. Table reads have commenced and casting is underway. Stay tuned for updates from the trenches.
